The Yeswelder YWM-211P could be the next groundbreaking machine in the welding universe. Multi-welders offering double pulsed MIG exist, but they are all expensive. The YWM-211P carries a cut-rate price everyone can afford and includes pulsed MIG that can make near TIG quality beads.
So, this welder is unique, and other bargain welders on the market do not come close to its features. But, oddly, YesWelder hasn’t conducted a vigorous marketing campaign to introduce it. At least not yet.
So, we’ll evaluate the pros and cons and share with you what we do know about the YWM-211P. Yeswelder tries hard to disrupt the industry, judging by the welding machines they released in 2020, 2021, and 2022. After successes with the MP200 and CT-2050, they’ve taken their next step by “silently” launching the one-of-a-kind Yeswelder YWM-211P multiprocess welder at an entry-level price. Let’s dig in.

- It’s not yet “battle tested” on the market. Nobody knows how well an aggressively priced GMAW-P welder will perform long-term. Competitors cost more than two times, and maybe there is a reason for it.
- Historically, Yeswelder has made large launch campaigns when releasing new, market-shaking equipment. Why didn’t they launch a Kickstarter for the GMAW-P capable, inexpensive welder? Did they have a reason to keep it quiet? We’ll never know, but we’ll have to wait and see how the machine performs long-term.

The Yeswelder YWM-211P is the first-ever “affordable” pulsed and double pulsed MIG machine. Plus, it’s a capable multi-process welder that supports a spool gun and a wealth of other features.
In a market where you have to scrutinize machines’ specifications to find that they miss something important, the YWM-211P is a breath of fresh air.
– Dual voltage? Check.
– Multi-process? Check.
– E6010? Check.
Ah, but it doesn’t have VRD, so that I can get shocked. Right? Nope, VRD, also check.
It’s almost unreal to see an inexpensive, hobbyist welder from a reputable brand check most of the boxes while also offering pulsed MIG.

The YWM 211P is sold on Amazon, however, you will usually find it cheaper on their own website with a current deal they are running, or, stacked with a 10% discount coupon like “WELDGURU10” which I found online.
What To Know Before Buying The Yeswelder YWM-211P
While the YWM-211P’s aggressive price will attract many buyers to this loaded machine, there are some downsides to consider.
The Yeswelder YWM-211P is Not Yet Time Tested
Nobody can predict how well the YWM-211P will work long-term, especially since there aren’t comparable machines. We said the same about the Yeswelder MP200. But after some time, MP200 users flooded YouTube and Instagram because the unit met or exceeded expectations.
Yeswelder has been a reliable, inexpensive welding equipment manufacturer in the past. Even so, we need to warn you that assessing the longevity of a new pulsed MIG machine that costs far less than usual is almost impossible.
Requires Additional Investment
Considering the low cost of the YWM-211P, we can’t say the missing spool gun and TIG torch is unexpected. But we just wanted you to be aware of these additional costs if you weld aluminum and/or you use the TIG welding process.
Yeswelder’s spool gun and TIG torch are not expensive. However, buying the machine and these two accessories does make more of a dent in your wallet.
If you rely on TIG welding in your work, you shouldn’t buy the Yeswelder YWM-211P. While this machine does TIG, it only offers basic lift DC TIG like most budget welders. You don’t get any advanced TIG features. The YWM-211P doesn’t even support TIG foot control, which is a real shame.
Still, the primary function of the YWM-211P is pulsed MIG welding, so we can’t expect it to support everything else. But, if it had included the TIG foot pedal support, we’d be astonished.
How The Yeswelder YWM-211P Stacks Up
The Yeswelder YWM-211P blows the competition out of the water price-wise. However, it remains to be seen if it’ll survive long-term, real-world use.
Other commercially available pulsed MIG welders are the Everlast Power MIG 253 DPI (300% more expensive), Lincoln Electric Power MIG 360 (1500% more expensive), and Millermatic 255 (530% more expensive). We could mention a few other brands, but these are some of the big brands that compare with the YWM-211P.
It’s naive to think that the Yeswelder YWM-211P would outlive or outperform the three “similar” models mentioned. Those are heavy-duty machines designed for industrial welding. They can survive harsh conditions, perform over time, and come with extended warranties.
But, what if you are just a hobbyist or have a small shop? In that case, spending thousands of dollars doesn’t make sense. So, for most people, the Yeswelder YWM-211P is the only pulsed MIG machine with a low barrier to entry.
Below is a short comparison between the Yeswelder YWM-211P and the competing models. Keep in mind that the only thing Yeswelder has going for it is the low price and appropriate quality for its price range. The existing competition significantly beats Yeswelder in weld and build quality, but most people don’t need or have the resources to own such powerful welders.

Best Features of the Yeswelder YWM-211P
Now that we’ve compared the YWM-211P with other brands and discussed some of its shortcomings, let’s see what makes this welder so interesting.
Pulse and Double Pulse MIG
Pulsed MIG offers an astonishing level of heat control when welding. It allows you to stay in spray transfer mode AND weld vertically or overhead.
Standard MIG welding cannot make out-of-position welds in spray transfer. The puddle is too liquid and would fall on you. Also, you can’t weld aluminum in short circuit transfer. So, if you have to make out-of-position aluminum welds, pulsed MIG is the only way to do it.
Here’s a practical example. When welding aluminum under panels and skid plates, you must go underneath the car. So, to successfully join the aluminum in an overhead position, you must use pulsed MIG.
How Pulsed MIG Works
In a nutshell, pulsed MIG alternates the output current between high and low background amperage values. The high amps keep the arc extremely hot to prevent the spray transfer from turning into a short circuit transfer. Meanwhile, the background (low) amps chill the weld pool enough to prevent the weld puddle from falling when making out-of-position welds.
Double Pulsed MIG
Dual pulsed MIG provides all of the benefits of single pulsed mode and significantly enhances the weld appearance. How does it do that, you ask? We’ll be glad to explain.

Essentially, a double pulse adds a pulse within a pulse. Both the low and high amperage outputs get their peak (high) and background (low) output. This improves heat control and allows a significant change in the pulse waveform, which makes ripples in the weld puddle every time the pulse switches. As a result, it’s possible to make TIG-like welds with the popular “stack-of-dimes” appearance using a MIG welding process.
Besides MIG, the YWM-211P is capable of basic DC TIG and advanced stick welding. We touched on the limited TIG earlier, but its stick capabilities are impressive.
It supports the infamous E6010 electrode, meaning the machine has sufficient inductor storage to sustain the necessary voltage output. That’s a good sign of a welder’s durability, too. Inductors capable of storing the required power for E6010 electrodes are large and have a ferrite core, which partially explains the increased weight of the YWM-211P. Plus, the provided 72V open circuit voltage (“OCV”) helps in keeping the arc established with the E6010 rod.
The stick welding mode also supports a voltage reduction device (“VRD”). To prevent electric shocks when welding in damp conditions, turn on the VRD. The welder will reduce OCV to safe levels and only surge the voltage output when it senses that the electrode has shorted with the grounded metal.
If we wrote about all of the included functions, this YWM-211P review would be too long to read. So instead, we’ll just let you know that it contains every digital function offered by all brands in its price range. Make a list of all features that appear in competing models from PrimeWeld, Weldpro, Everlast, Eastwood, Titanium, AHP, Amico, Lotos, and other budget brands, and you’d see that the YWM-211P includes every single one of them.
But, let’s quickly name the most helpful features:
- Tack welding – Let’s you make consistent tack welds without guesswork. Eastwood MIG welders usually offer this feature.
- 2T/4T and 4TL – Many brands offer 2T/4T, but we haven’t seen 4TL in the budget category before. The 2T is your typical welding gun trigger mode — press the trigger, and the arc is turned on, release it, and it turns off. The standard 4T lets you weld without holding the trigger. But, the 4TL allows you to perfectly time the start and end amps manually, which is impossible with regular 4T.
- MIG inductance – Adjusting this value slightly modifies welding bead contour and a produced spatter amount.
- Pre and post-gas flow – Allows setting your desired shielding gas flow time. By manually adjusting this setting, you can improve weld quality and save on shielding gas.
- Starting and ending amps – Modify the initial power surge and amperage output when finishing the weld to prevent cracking on sensitive metals.
It’s also worth noting that these functions are easily accessible on a straightforward front panel. Plus, infinite adjustability and a large digital display allow fine-tuning of each setting for best results.

The Yeswelder YWM-211P stands alone in the entry-level market. It’s affordable enough for most hobbyists to purchase, but it offers pulsed and double pulsed MIG welding found in only high-end machines.
If you are a hobbyist or small shop owner who frequently welds aluminum, the YWM-211P may be a good choice. However, this machine cannot beat big-brand, pulsed MIG welders in joint quality or longevity.
Yeswelder has entered the pulsed MIG arena by offering this industrial welding process to the masses, but don’t expect industrial-grade quality for such a low price.
